The Father's Day Moose

The story begins when we were traveling up to our house up in Maine. We stopped at a visitor’s center, and on the wall was a framed poster advertising a chocolate shop. Have you heard of chocolate moose? Not chocolate mousse, chocolate moose. Well, until then, we hadn’t either. But the centerpiece of the poster was a picture of a life-size, 1700-lb solid chocolate moose. We decided that we should make a point of going out to that chocolate shop. Dad didn’t see the poster, so we decided it would make a good Father’s Day surprise. Well, it all worked out, and on our way back from Maine, on June 15^th, we went to Len Libby’s to visit “Lenny the Moose”. Dad got a picture of Lenny with his digital camera.

And yes, we did buy a few things from the shop while we were there! :o)
